Olmecip is available in tablet form of 40 mg per tablet, with the main component being Olmesartan Medoxomil. It is classified as an angiotensin-II receptor antagonist, which works on patients with severe hypertension by relaxing blood vessels and bringing down their blood pressure. High blood pressure is very dangerous as it has the capability of damaging blood vessels in the heart, brain, and kidneys, which can lead to cardiovascular problems like heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and/or blindness. Since there are no presenting symptoms for this disease, it needs to be treated with great care.
