Stablon (Tianeptine) 12.5mg is prescribed for those having mild to severe level of depressive disorders as well as irritable bowel syndrome and asthma. Drug Interactions with Stablon:
It is known that Tianeptine reacts with monoamine oxidase inhibitors. It could cause convulsions, hyperthermia, and cardiovascular effects like hypertension or cardiovascular collapse and in extreme cases, even death. It is, therefore, advisable that a gap of at least two weeks is maintained, between the two medications.
