Uses

Reactin-50 (Diclofenac Sodium) is available as 50mg tablets and is prescribed to patients who have intense pain after injury or surgery, as it has the property to focus on the pain centre. This brings about immediate relief from pain and also reduces any swelling. It has also proved successful with people suffering from arthritis and other chronic joint disorders. Overall, this drug has validated and proven analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-pyretic properties. It is indicated in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, severe gout attacks, tendinitis, and other pain-relieving situations as deemed fit by the physician.

Dosage and Administration

Reactin-50 (Diclofenac Sodium) is taken orally with a glass of water and after some food intake to prevent any stomach problems. The appropriate dosage is left to the doctor, as the strength and frequency can be reduced if the symptoms improve. The tablet should be swallowed whole and not crushed, chewed or broken, as the medication is programmed for a slow-release.

It comes in 50mg and a 100mg prolonged release tablet form. It is up to the doctor to inform you as to the correct strength and dosage frequency.
