Dosage and Administration

Quinin 300mg (Quinine Sulphate) has to be taken exactly how the doctor orders it.  The tablets should be swallowed whole with water without crushing or chewing it.  It is preferably taken with food to prevent an upset stomach.  The entire dosage has to be completed as prescribed to prevent re-infection and your body becoming resistant to these medications.  Dosage and duration of treatment will depend on the patient, the severity of the infection as well as the response to treatment.  If you forget to take the dose, take it as soon as you remember and the next dose should be taken as usual.
