Finax (Finasteride) - 1mg (30 Tablets)

Main Use
Male pattern hair loss also called androgenetic alopecia.

Active Ingredient

Marketed Name

Finax 1mg is the tablet form of Finasteride, which contains type II 5-alpha reductase inhibitor.  This inhibitor helps to arrest hair fall from the scalp and increase hair growth.  Hair loss is prevented by reducing the amount of DHT or natural body hormones in the body and not allowing it to build up in the hair follicles thus allowing the hair to grow normally.  It is useful for reversing balding that is mild or moderate but not really useful for long term balding.

Dosage and Administration

Finax (Finasteride) 1mg is to be taken orally once a day with or without food, however, plenty of water should be taken.  The medicine is to be taken under the direction of a doctor and should not be stopped abruptly to prevent loss of newly grown hair.  Usually it is taken for a duration of 3 months.  If a dose is missed and it is already time to take the second dose, the first dose can be skipped.  It is not advisable to take a double dose.  Finax should be stored away from direct sunlight.  It is also not advised to alter dosages without the consent of your medical doctor.
