Finalo 1mg is a prescription medicine used primarily to treat male pattern baldness (also known as androgenetic alopecia) that occurs in the middle of the crown or scalp. The active ingredient in this drug is Finasteride.
Finalo 1mg prevents testosterone from being converted to dihydrotestosterone which is known to cause hair loss. Therefore, this drug promotes hair growth. When prescribed in a higher dose, this drug may also be used as a hormone replacement therapy for men or to treat benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Dosage and Administration
Finalo 1mg must be taken under the guidance of a medical practitioner. The general recommend dosage is 1 tablet per day. The correct dosage however depends on the patient’s condition and response to the treatment. The tablet is swallowed whole with plenty of water and can be taken with or without meals.
