Uses
Careprost (Bimatoprost ophthalmic) is a liquid form of Bimatoprost ophthalmic containing 0.03% per ml. It is prescribed to treat glaucoma patients with intraocular pressure (IOP). The eye drop helps drain the excess fluid from the eye, which decreases pressure and prevents eyesight loss. The eye drops also have other uses such as in the treatment of hypotrichosis, which is characterized by an insufficient or abnormal eyelash growth. The eye drops help patients grow thicker, longer and darker eyelashes.

Dosage and Administration
Careprost (Bimatoprost ophthalmic) is an eye drop that can be applied for alleviating eye pressure and for enhancing eyelash growth. If you are wearing contact lenses, make sure to remove them before applying the drops. If using the drops to enhance eyelash growth, make sure to remove makeup as well as contact lenses. You can reinsert the lenses 5 minutes after application of Bimatoprost ophthalmic.

Dosage is dependent on your condition and will be advised by your doctor. Generally, the recommended dosage will be 0.03% applied once daily, during evening, one drop in each eye. Make sure to strictly follow the dosage as prescribed by your doctor. If using an eyeliner brush for application to enhance eyelash growth, make sure the brush is clean first. Blot any excess solution using a tissue.
